Hey everyone so today I'm going to be doing a video comparing the Pandora essence bracelet to a regular Pandora moments bracelet. So this is the essence bracelet and then this is what a regular Pandora moments bracelet looks like and this one does have sterling silver charms on it. So, as you can see up close, the essence bracelet is a lot thinner compared to the moments bracelet. That's the main difference between the two lines, the essence bracelet is in general, it's just a little bit more of a dainty look.
This is a bangle so and this is, you know, a regular type bracelet not the moments bangle because there is one. This one clasps like that and the essence bracelet also has a similar clasp and I’ll show you how it opens like that and then it comes out kind of like this. Here are the two bracelets side by side and I do have charms on my one bracelet. I'll take them off here in a minute. I bought both of them in the 16 centimetres size, so smallest size, and to me the moments bracelet is a little bit more comfortable because it does bend. This one is stiff obviously, so sometimes I can kind of feel it just getting caught a little on my wrist. Okay so this is what the essence bracelet looks like on, I think it's very pretty, just plain to wear as a bangle on its own or you can of course put charms on it. So I decided I would change the angle that I was filming at so you can see the bracelets better. This is what the two bracelets look like on, I remove the charms awesome moments bracelet so you could compare them side by side, this is one of the kind of like special edition moments bracelets, so the clasp is different but like a regular moments bracelet will just have a Pandora branded clasp like this one. This one's like a starry night or something like that, so the clasp is different. They both look really good on by themselves, in my opinion, the essence looks better on its own, because it can really work it's just a standalone bracelet. The issue with the moments bracelet, why it doesn't look as good on its own is because it has these threads right here to keep the charms from swinging all the way around, but I still think that that looks fine as it is, but it may you know bother some people. So this is what the two bases look like on, they do both have a tendency if you don't have any charms on them to kind of you know slide to where all the weight is, red ball is, so they will kind of end up like that and you'll just have to spin them around. To me the moments bracelet is much easier to remove, secondly unclasp this, you just unclasp it and it's off the essence bangle. A little more difficult, unclasp it the same way but when you remove it, you kind have to take this part out of this little catch, catching area, so it can be a little bit difficult to do one-handed. I'm sure once you get good at it, it would be really fast, but I'm not very good at it. Here we go, then it comes off like this. Okay so in terms of material they're both you know 925 sterling silver, but in terms of weight the moments bracelet is quite a bit heavier than the essence bracelet. This one, you could barely feel anything, when you're holding it or wearing it. Speaking about sizing, the moments bracelet comes in all of these sizes, the 16 centimetres, through 21 and then also 23 centimetres. The essence bracelet, the smaller one, right now as of today it only comes in the 16 centimetre, the 18 centimetre and the 20, so I did get 16 centimetre in both sizes. The moments bracelet it's pretty you know perfectly in the 16 I do find this one to just kind of sit a little weird and when I tried on the 18, it was quite a bit bigger, bigger than I would want this kind of bracelet to fit because I just wanted something kind of dinky and well fitted on my wrist. But it's really up to you, I think a larger size bracelet would be more comfortable to take on and off, then when that fits tighter but it's just your personal preference on how you like to wear your bracelets. So in terms of price this one the essence bracelet is $60 US dollars and the moments bracelets are generally 65. Of course if you get these you know limited edition ones, that have a special designer clasp[ or have gold on them different stuff like that, they're going to you know cost a little bit more and then I think the one question that everyone is really wondering about, is can you put a moment's charm on an essence bracelet? I actually don't own any essence charms, doesn't charms are different in that the inside of them have kind of like a rubber stopper inside, so that when you put it on the bracelet it doesn't swing around, it just sticks to you know the location where you put it, because of the rubber stopper. These they're threaded and by threaded I mean they screw on, so here you can see there's a little screw and you kind of like twist them on right and then they stayed that way but in this section for example they will slide around right. So that's the difference between the types of beads now they do tell you at the Pandora's store that you shouldn't put moment's beads on to essence bracelets, because they're too big and heavy and it made and the bracelet to me honestly because I think you could at least get away with one of these charms on here. If you just want to keep it dainty, you know you could wear just one and here are the two bracelets side by side and I hope you liked this video and I will see you guys next time.
