Hi everybody I hope you had a fabulous end to your year and that you are already having a great start to the new year. At the end of last year I promised you guys, that one my first videos would be my statement necklace collection video, and here it is, and like this video if you have a statement necklace obsession - because I know I'm not the only one.
I get a ton of questions asking about my statement and gold chain necklaces from where I find them, how I get good deals on them, how I style them and how I organize them. So all that will be addressed here today and I will be showing you guys all of my statement necklaces. For the longest time I was storing my necklaces along my mirror, just like how draping them over, but I was afraid that the mirror is going to break soon or something because it is an old vanity that I use, and the necklaces are quite heavy. If you follow me on Instagram you already know how I store them because I posted a picture a couple of nights ago. You guys should follow me on Instagram at hearts shopping, but I just use a coat hanger thing that I’ve had since I was really little, is how I style them. I wear them whenever I feel like they're going to complete an outfit. I wouldn't wear it with this outfit just because it has the buttons at the collar and just like the little embroidery, so I didn't work today. I wear statement necklaces as you guys probably know, just with collared shirts most of the time, chambray shirts, flannels with sweaters over them, high cut dresses. I wear them all the time basically, but there's not really eight tips for them, you just have to be able to pull them off I think. Like you have to be confident when you're wearing them, because it's a statement piece and next is where I buy them. Before I start showing you guys all the necklaces. I like j.crew j.crew Factory has good deals all the time, random little shops on Etsy, blue teak has some really great jewellery especially in their actual locations, which I think they only have like six, but um I bought three necklaces when I was visited once. So that was a fun day, bauble bar of course, um the little random flash sales stores like group deals, very Jane dot com and ruby all really great. Um and then just like finding a little random boutiques, every once in a while I’ll buy something from there especially if I'm looking for our j.crew piece that's sold out I’ll normally find like a j.crew inspired piece and just by googling the j.crew necklace, you can normally find it that way. So I'm just going to get started because we have a lot of necklaces here. If I have any pictures of me wearing these necklaces like from Instagram i'll insert them. Alright so the first one is this j.crew flora bib inspired one. I got this from group deals. I think is either group deals or very Jane calm, but it's by the brand buffalo lane and I wouldn't recommend it. It's kind of cheap because it was a tube necklace but I’ve been looking for this for forever, so I finally got it, so I like that one. I have this blue teal and mint one and this is from blue teak and I got this at their Charlottesville location in Virginia, super pretty, I love statement necklace collection videos because I feel like no one does them, so it's always really exciting when someone does. I have this one which I got from j.crew Factory it was $25 on sale, so awesome deal there, and I wear this all the time, as you guys probably could tell over my holiday season with all its fashion videos. I wear some a lot I absolutely love this and it's just really sparkly add a really good outfit completer. This is the Audrey necklace from Ellen damn and I got this a couple years ago, but it's just like the five little teardrop stones and then the gold chain, and I like this one a lot especially it for like the holiday season. And this is from Francesca's and Francesca's is really good too, they have lost sales a lot of time where it's like I won't get one for $5. Awesome, has the emerald green stones with the mint and the clear crystals and then the little creamsicle ones, so like that. This one was from my sister for my birthday, it was, its j.crew inspired, like I said I found it cuz I’ve been looking for it for forever and I found it on eBay. So eBay is another great source to use, but this is j.crew inspired, super-pretty. I love this one and I love wearing it with just a navy and white striped top I have from j.crew. I think it looks really nice like that. This is one of my newer necklaces that I get a bazillion compliments on every single time I wear it. This is the honeybee inspired necklace from j.crew but it inspires, if not from j.crew it's actually from apple of my eye jewelry dot net dot com. I believe I got this for Christmas, like I said and every time I wear I get so many questions about it. So this is really pretty, it's just light pink crystals and that's a little teal purple and creamsicle. I have a couple boring ones, this is just a bubble necklace and I think this one was from Charlotte Russe, just really simple. I also got it in black and I wear the black one more than the teal one. So I have these two bubble necklaces, my first statement necklace ever, it's not that much of a statement anymore and I rarely wear it. I think I did one video with it once, it's just this lil one I got it from forever 21 and I think target has a lot of these out right now, so it's kind of funny. A couple from bauble bar, here mogera, I had this one from bauble bar, it's just a bubble necklace and it's pearls and this was from the Atlantic Pacific collaboration with olive R, which is a blog which I love. So there's this little one and I wear this a lot in the summer and my mom loves that one too, and I have this big pink one which I actually love this. I only can wear it with some types of shirts like didn't look with everything, but when I do it's really cute and my management always asked, he's like, isn't that like really heavy in your neck? I'm like no, it's plastic. So I like this one quite a lot and I have another one I got for Christmas and this is just like crystals all the way around the top and then there's just a little yellow pendants hanging down with more charms and crystals. This was from, I think very Jain calm, love that and it came with earrings too and I believe it was something ridiculous like nine dollars. This is one of my newer necklaces which I love so much. I got this from Francesca's, I don't know how to show you guys, it's kind of different because it's longer, it's not just up at your neckline, it's a little bit lower, so I really like this one it is like a yellow emerald chocolate and lavender. Really pretty, I have my really pretty JQ Rose necklace which is kind of twisted right now, don't like that very much. I didn't buy this in store, I bought this off a reliable seller on eBay. eBay can be kind of sketchy sometimes, my best advice for it would just to not order anything from China, it's most likely fake. Just going to say it, I have this, absolutely love it, especially for the summer, everyone's always very interested by it you're like that's quite a necklace there, like I know I love it. This one this is from blue teak and it's just pull up blue and purple and it's really cute, really kind of simple, looks really good with chambray shirts. Then my last one from boutique is just like that fan one, that everyone kind of has, its Navy, orange and pink and I wore this on a college but said I believe. It looked super cute which is a chambray shirt and a j.crew um skirt, super cute, I like that one. This one I believe was one my first purchases first purchases from group deals. I don't wear it a ton just because the colours in person are different from the photo that was online, so that's why I don't wear it as much, but it's still pretty cute. It's just blue teal and pink j.crew factory version, uh I don't know if it's called the cupcake necklace or the, I want to say Venus flytrap. I don't think that's right though. I'm not sure what it's called, but just the little strand of crystals and I wear this one just with like more busy outfits, it just kind of completes it, adds a little sparkle to it. And then my last necklace is from group deals I think like I said I get Law Group deal things you and it's just the j.crew inspired candy necklace, which I was on the hunt for, for forever and I found it on group deals, I believe it was like 17 dollars, great deal and the quality is really nice. This is one of the nicer quality ones I found from group deals, so I'm pretty happy about that.
